I've played 6,7(The best for me, the story's great), 8,9,10, tactics(PS), tactics(GBA), and FINAL FANTASY 4!(I never did finish my game though, I got stuck on some part...)

I tried looking for PC versions for the Final Fantasy games, but unfortunately, I found none. But instead, I found a 'Galaxy Angels: Eternal Lovers' PC game. It's a game version of the anime.Sadly, it's in chinese, and knowing how bad my chinese is (though ironically, I'm a Chinese myself), I'm gonna have a tough time playing it. Most idiotically, I'm trying to get my CPU to recognise the chinese character words, as they keep showing scrambled characters that completely make no sense. I'm gonna cry trying to get things right, after seeing how much I spent on it... It's so fustrating.

Jinshen what version of Windows do you have?
If its Windows XP then:

1) Go to Start and then Control Panel
2) Go to Regional and Language Options
3) Click the Advanced tab
4) At the top dropdown (the Language for non-unicode programs blah section) select Chinese... uhh there appears to be a few different versions of Chinese But trial and error?

Then just confirm that and try again (or restart your computer if it asks you to)
If it still doesn't work you might want to try setting the other areas (the other tabs) of the Regional and Language Options settings to Chinese.

Most unfortunately, mine is Windows 98. But the other computer in my house is Windows XP. Unfortunately, I did try the 'Regional and Language Options' on my Windows XP, but no matter how much I look under the 'Language for non-unicode programs' section, I could not find any language for Chinese!! Seriously, I really feel like cying...

Anymore solutions to this irritating problem of mine?

Hmm thats strange that you don't have Chinese as a drop-down option, really you should.... Dunno if the language would be on your Windows XP installation CD if you still have it or something. There should be language packs on it. Windows XP is the best for language support.

You could try checking on Windows 98 for similar settings (under the Control Panel).
Or you could try using some programs like NJStar Communicator

For NJStar:
1) Install It
2) All you have to do now is run it and the tab will come up at the top and also a little red icon on your Start bar. This means it is running in the background of your computer.
3) Now whenever you open a program that wants to display things in Chinese it'll recognise that and work with it. Also when you click on the little red icon on the Start bar you get more options.

Quick question:

What is the stupidest thing you have ever done while playing a game?

I have done countless stupid things on Final Fantasy VII. Just recently I went into the Shinra Building elevator while controlling Aeris without taking any materia besides Restore, then finding out you can't fight the two bosses with physical attacks and can only use magic, limits and guns. I finally managed to beat them, then went on to a battle with Cloud and Rufus...and died. Did I mention this all happened during my second time around with the game? ^_^;;

Chrono Cross is kinda like Final fantasy which is also made by square enix, It's a story about time instead of life(FInal Fantasy) The gameplay is like FF too but what I really like it about most is the relaxing music and the combinations you do with other characs. And instead of fighting and KILLING the last boss, you have to save the Last boss(WHAT!?!)

The most stupidest thing that I did in FF7
FIGHTING RUBY WEAPON WITH NO MATERIA AT ALL!!!
