This question of mine came to me after reading the AlienNine: Emulators. I already had this question for some weeks, but it was until I realised that I could post this question on this board. Ok, I scanned the scene from my book (bent it 90 degrees, was like nearly freaking out. Excuse me for the poor picture quality).
If you don't know, the person in the bag is Kumi, NOT YURI (Kumi fused with Yuri a few scenes ago, This is for those who hadn't read the book yet). However, I would like to know why Kumi kept referring to herself as 'Kumi' instead of 'I'. In the section on the right, Kumi said ,'Kumi isn't the type to only think of herself', instead of 'I ain't the type to only think of myself'. Kasumi seems to be talking not to Kumi but someone else, as she said 'But Kumi's gonna die if we don't do something' instead of 'but you're gonna die if we don't do something', even though she was talking to Kumi directly.
It is as though Kasumi was talking to someone else. If it is, then who would it be? Perhaps the borg Kumi had fused with? Or is this just a typo error? (I noticed a few obvious errors in the 4 books. Not typo errors, but more of illustrative errors...)
So... what do you think?
Kumi came out of the Yellow Knife looking like Yuri except for her eyes.
